Who Am I?
My name is Hamel Khalifa Al Qubaisi, and I am 17 years young and enjoying my life. I believe that I should live everyday like my last and that is how I enjoy life. I live my life to the fullest by doing the things I love, which you will now know about. I love sitting with my family at home and with my friends at school, because it makes me realize how blessed I am to be sitting and chatting with the people who appreciate me and celebrate rather than tolerate me. I also enjoy going out with my friends and having a good time with them. I love taking a ton of Snapchat selfies with them because when I look back at them I remember how at that exact moment I was having fun and everything was so perfect. As you may noticed, I have lots of love for my close and real friends and I also enjoy helping them. I believe that us human beings should help one another if we get the chance to, and if we cannot help them then I think we should not hurt them either or do them wrong. Furthermore, I am very interested in cars, I mean VERY interested in cars, I consider myself a Hard Blood car enthusiast or simply a Petrol Head. I enjoy sitting and staring at cars and I am looking forward to the day I get to drive as well, I am especially a fan of Classic Cars and I hope one day to have a collection of Classic Cars.
Language plays an important role in me and my culture, especially the Arabic Language because slowly locals are switching to forgetting their Arabic language and speaking foreign languages as their first. The UAE is worried that its own people will forget its culture, traditions and its language. The Arabic language is very endangered, not only in the UAE but in many Arab countries, many natives can barely speak Arabic and this is wrong, Arabic is a beautiful language and we should speak it with one another (Arabic Native to the other). Speaking for myself, I am a fluent Arabic and in English, as well as a bit of French since I took courses for 6 months.
Language is also important because it is our way of communicating and a way to understand each other. I believe that it is also important to learn other languages that is not our native one, so we can understand other cultures and traditions. As a kid my Arabic was rather weak and I spoke entirely in English also at home, but I only spoke Arabic with my parents and siblings. As I grew up, I realised how important Arabic was to me because it represented who I am, where I come from and my local tradition and culture. However, it is also beautiful to learn other languages because it helps a person grow, understand the world more, as well as add character and boost creativity. Plus, it creates a connection between humans and it gives us the feeling that we are all one together.

Goal Setting -
As an I.B 1 student, I am about to have one heck of a journey. For the next two years, I wish to put a stop to my bad habit(s) such as procrastinating and not handing in my school work on its deadline. I plan on studying more and making school my number one priority, because I strongly believe that everything else could wait and if anything were to effects my grades then it should strongly concern me. For the next two years I plan on keeping my head into the game, work hard, grind, stay patient, to never give up and to do great work. Plus, I know that to be good at something, I have to love what I do, because I can only do great work if I love what I do.
Our English Teacher is a very helpful, kind and a very good teacher in general. I believe with him teaching me, I will be able to get all the help I need to reach my goals, which include loving my work and getting high grades.
The International Baccalaureate also known as The I.B benefits it's students by making them develop strong academic, social and emotional characteristics. Students of I.B are proven to to do better academically than students who are taking and have took other curriculum's. The I.B Diploma (IBDP) grants higher university acceptances as well.
